Continuing the series of skill development initiatives, the Centralized Training & Placement Department of YTCEM organized the IBM SkillBuild Awareness Workshop in collaboration with IBM and Pratham Foundation on Friday as part of the IBM SkillBuild Awareness Campaign.
The workshop focused on understanding AI models, their basic concepts, and practical applications, helping students gain hands-on exposure to the world of Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation.
A total of 100 students from First, Second, and Third Year engineering batches participated with great enthusiasm, out of which 87 students successfully achieved their first IBM certification through the SkillBuild platform — a proud achievement for the college.
This success was made possible through the constant support and coordination of Respected Principal Ram Sir, T&P Cell Head Amit Sir, Asst. Prof. Sakshi Jadhav Ma’am, and Asst. Prof. Nikita Ma’am. Their guidance, encouragement, and effective organization ensured active student involvement and smooth execution of the workshop.
The department extends heartfelt appreciation to all faculty members, coordinators, and students who contributed to making this event impactful and memorable.
YTCEM looks forward to hosting more such initiatives that promote industry-academia collaboration and future-ready learning.
